I hope all the visitors and followers of my little corner of DeviantArt are doing well. I cannot thank you all enough for all of your favourates, additions to your collections, follows, kind words and support you've all given me over the years. It means a lot to me. There are so many incredibly talented individuals on this site and it's an honour to share this space with you all. Every day you will find a piece of work that will inspire you in some way being it personally or creatively. I wish I could have posted a lot more work however I've found looking back over the years that my work has gone from fun and creative into a suffocated process. As the years went by I found myself less and less inspired to continue to build up and evolve as an artist and be at the level I really should be at by now. I didn't give my craft the attention that it really required because I distanced myself a lot from my work when I would arrive home and in turn my own personal development suffered.
With this realisation I've decided to make my job as enjoyable as it was eight and a half years ago when I started working as an artist professionally. To restore that joy and excitement I felt before I turned my hobby into a job. To be creative again. To have fun. Start a new chapter in my life, take more risks, and make the past eight and a half years mean something. I'm proud to announce here first to everyone that has stuck with my through my time here at DeviantArt that I will be collaborating with a fellow games industry colleague, Clive Lawrence (Twitter: @manwhoflewaway) on a brand new puzzle exploration game currently in development for PC, OBSERVATORIUM
I'm incredibly excited and proud to be working along side my friends and to help drive the visual direction of Observatorium and hopefully create a visually rich and engaging world for people to get lost in. I cannot wait to share more with you over the coming months and keep everyone up-to-date on the game's progress.
So again, thank you to everyone that has stuck with me over the years. Your support means the world to me and I look forward to sharing this new chapter of my life with you here on DA.
I hope everyone is well and hope you're having a good day.
